DEL SUMMIT 2015

The official post - event summary publication of D Exquisite Ladies Summit_28th November 2015

From all corners of Lagos, exquisite ladies assembled for the summit @ Eugenia Halls Costain.
The hall was set fit for the ladies who were a sight to behold with a Dinner Style seating and Setting in pinks, whites, purples. The moods were right and it was obvious the event was not an ordinary one.

After the Opening Prayer, GOD's Handmaiden Mrs Aijay Ufomadu handled the introductory Session, talking about the Vision, how and why it was birthed. This encompassed the DEL TIT-BITS.

*SPIRITUALITY __  Consistency is Key. Spending 20 minutes on daily devotion consistently everyday will be more effective than planning to spend 1(one) Hour that you'll hardly ever have. Get the best time slot that will work for you daily and be consistent at it. Then grow from there.

*INDUSTRIOUS-FOCUS ON FINANCE __  Never underestimate the Importance of Financial Intelligence. Getting Financial Knowledge is Powerful. You are not getting Financially Empowered to dominate your Husband. No!! Financial Empowerment will make you a better Helper to your husband and help you fulfill your destiny.

*HOMELY __ 3 Ways to Cut Household Cost: #1_When you run out of an item, avoid quick trips to the market, it can be fun to substitute. #2_Stock up on quantity for those items that have long shelf live (non-perishable) and that you use regularly. Bulk buying is always cheaper. #3_Rather than throwing away left over onions and peppers, cut them up and put them in a freezer. You will always have a supply of these when needed.

*INTELLIGENCE __  Google is your best teacher, but you must control the content you consume. You become what you consume. Don't limit yourself to Spiritual Books alone. Read Wide but be careful of what you consume.

*BOLDNESS __  Boldness is a must if you must take territories. Boldness is a combination of who you are and what you know.

*ATTRACTIVE __  #1_Practice detoxing your body periodically. Drink warm lemon water to help flush toxins from your body. #2_Periodically cut out sugar from your diet for at least 5 days to give your body and skin a break. #3_Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables to boost the amount of skin-saving nutrients you have and limit salty snacks which can cause swelling and water retention.

*ATTITUDE __  It's very easy to feel bad when we are at the receiving end of injustice. But we often forget how it hurts when we are at the giving end. Let our Words bless the people around us and let forgiveness be given out even before it's asked for.

The DEL Tit-Bits were indeed life altering words to the  lives and destinies of those present.

After the introductory Session, The first speaker/resource person_ Miss Bukki, gave a talk on health and wellness _ Healthy Eating the Nigerian Way.
The talk/workshop was very educative and was tailored to suit the contemporary times we have found ourselves, where everything is on the fast lane, including fast food.

Next_The Interactive Session

The interactive session was an interesting and eclectic mix, which challenged us as Ladies to make the beauty that lies within us radiate on the physical.

There was also a time to Laugh out Loud (lol)_Excerpt from the Comical interlude "U Fit?"_

"If Aje BUTTER KIDS want to make mouth as in boast, you will hear stuffs like "do you have a bike?_"have your Dad gotten the latest car model?_"have you been to London before?....  and stuffs like that  BUT if Aje KPAKO PIKIN wan make mouth, wetin you go dey hear na  "U Don trek Waka from Yaba reach Isheri before? U Fit??  U Fit??? " U Don cross bridge only you before???  U Fit????  "U Don theif mango before wey them pursue u, u no troway am... U Fit??  U Fit????"

It was a brief and hilarious Comical interlude by Minister I.D, which was followed by An entrepreneurial talk on the Lady CEO_Social Media Engineering_Teach me to blog and make money online using Twitter, Facebook and Other Social Media by Mr. Lanre Adeyemi.

Other Workshops includes:
A Money Management Talk, which highlighted "Saving" as a very crucial aspect of life by Mr Ibrahim Haruna and Mr Nnanna Ebiri Okoro;
And
A Medical Talk by Dr. Chidinma, who explicitly explained the prons and cons of certain beauty and body trim Processes we undertake as Ladies.

The Workshops were just Thrilling and everyone left the meeting letting others know just how blessed they were to have attended the meeting.

From the opening session to the final session, Del summit 2015 witnessed GOD's Presence.

The Workforce of DEL Summit 2015 worked together to ensure the smooth run Pre, during and post Del summit.

SOLUTIONS TO SAVE YOUR RELATIONSHIP

3 solutions that can save your relationship

No matter how hard you try, you can't always avoid challenges. They are inevitable but if you recognize ahead of time what those challenges might be, you’ll have a much better chance of getting past them.

Even though every relationship has its ups and downs, successful couples have learned how to manage the bumps, work through the complex issues and keep their love life going.

Many do this by reading self-help books and articles, attending seminars, going to counselling, observing other successful couples, etcetera etcetera.... there are so many options!

Well then, let's take a look at some of these relationships issues and solutions

Relationship problem: Communication

Most if not all relationship problems stem from poor communication. You can’t communicate if you don't express what is within you_nobody (normal atleast) reads minds. You also aren't working communications when you don't listen. Common mistakes we make_You are not listening while you’re checking your phone, watching Tv, or flicking through the sports section.

Problem-solving strategies:

>Make an actual appointment with each other. Put the cell phones on vibrate, put the kids (if any) to bed and let voicemail pick up your calls.

>Learn to “communicate” without raising your voices. You go to a public spot like the park, restaurant where you’d be embarrassed if anyone saw you screaming.

>Set up some rules. Try not to interrupt until your partner is through speaking, or ban phrases such as “you always…” or “you never…”

>Use body language to show you are listening. Don’t doodle, look at your watch or pick at your nails. Nod so the other person knows you’re getting the message, and rephrase if you need to. For instance, say, “what I hear you saying is that you feel as though you take on more responsibilities even though we are both working”. If you’re right, the other can confirm.

Relationship problem: Money

Money problems can start even before the first good morning. Money issues spring for so many reasons, for example, expenses during courtship, high cost of a wedding (if married), or perhaps lazy ladies who always want to eat out_@ very expensive restaurants....  etcetera etcetera

Problem-solving strategies

>Be honest about your current financial situation. If things have gone south, continuing the same lifestyle is unrealistic.

>Don’t approach the subject in the heat of battle. Instead find a time convenient and non-threatening for both of you.

>Acknowledge that one partner may be a spender and one a saver, understand there are benefits to both, and agree to learn from each other’s tendencies.

>Don't throw blames!

>Don’t hide income or debt.

>Decide which person will be responsible for paying certain bills for example the monthly electricity bills.

>Allow each person to have independence by setting aside money to be spent at his or her discretion.

>Decide upon short-term and long term goals. It’s ok to have individual goals, but you should have family goals too.

>Talk about caring for your parents as they age and how to appropriately plan for their financial needs if needed.

Relationship Problem: Not Making Your Relationship a Priority

If you want to keep your love life going, making relationship a focal point should not end when you say and/or hear "yes". So make yours a priority.

Problem-solving strategies

>Make time for what matters!!!

>Do the things you used to do when you first started dating: show appreciation, compliment each other, contact each other through the day, and show interest in each other.

>Plan date nights. Schedule time together on the calendar just as you would any other important event in your life.

>Respect one another. Say “thank you” and “I appreciate…”  It lets your partner know that they matter

Relationship Problem: Trust

CELEBRATING DUNAMIS @ 19TH ANNIVERSARY

Let us start by Celebrating the faithfulness of GOD as Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC) marks her 19th Anniversary!

ABOUT DUNAMIS INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL CENTRE (DIGC)

Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC) is located in Abuja Nigeria, where God's Presence,  principles and power is saving, healing and restoring human destinies.

THE GENESIS

In the Month of May, 1996 in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, Dr Paul and Dr Becky Enenche, Senior Pastors of DIGC were at a crossroad as to what next to do with life.

As attractive and promising as the future seemed with both himself and his wife practising medical doctors, he was overcome by an unusual level of restlessness in the spirit. And so on the 28th of May, 1996, he journeyed to a mountainous area in the outskirts of Jos, to be alone with the Master of the Universe, Who has the master plan of his life.

The Lord asked him to put aside his Medical Certificate and “go to the city of Abuja and start a gospel outreach that will be characterized with a heavy Presence of God to heal, save and deliver people; a church that will restore human destiny and dignity.

This Call,  the Spirit of God also confirmed when He told his young wife Dr Mrs Becky Enenche.

FROM REVELATION TO REALITY:

In the Month of November 1996 (six months after the call in May), Dr Paul and his ever sub-missive and highly supportive wife, Dr Becky Enenche, left their jobs, relatives, Medical career and every plan they had made for their lives and moved to Abuja, a land where they knew nobody. But like the Biblical Abraham, obeying the Lord was paramount to them, and so, they proceeded despite external discouragements, to commence the instruction given to them.

FIRST SUNDAY SERVICE

Dunamis International Gospel Centre was established on the 10th of November 1996. The first Sunday service was held at Abuja Centre for Arts and Culture (First Floor) Area 10. Church service was held there for 2weeks before the church moved to Abuja Sheraton Hotel & Towers, where worship took place for about 6 months.

The Church moved to her present site in  Area 1, Garki, Abuja,  in June 1997, less than a year after the ministry started and God has been confirming His Word with power, signs and wonders following. The lost have been saved, the oppressed have been set free and the confused have found answers to the many questions of their lives. Afflictions of many kinds have bowed out in His Name. HIV/AIDS, cancers, barrenness, blindness, brain tumors, madness, witchcraft operations, deafness and dumbness, etc, have all been terminated out of people’s lives through the ever saving and powerful Name of Jesus Christ the resurrected Lord.

Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), is also a revival and end time fire distribution centre, where ministers from around the globe gather to experience the deep, palpable and feelable Presence of God; connect with God’s heartbeat for the present, receive current instructions for the end time assignment and get imparted to take charge of their territories for God at the International Ministers Flaming Fire Conference.

THE MEANING OF DUNAMIS

Dunamis (Doo'na-mis) is the Greek word for POWER. It is taken from Acts 1:8.'But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:....' It is a miraculous power with inherent ability and a power source that reproduces itself without diminishing in intensity. That is why at Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), no matter how battered, shattered, scattered, buffeted, ruptured, punctured and de-constructed lives and destinies are, they have been mended, gathered, sutured, and re-constructed by the power of God! It is the mandate to restore human destinies and dignities.

DUNAMIS INTERNATIONAL CENTRE

VISION: The Restoration of human destiny and dignity by the administration of the benefits of Redemption, through the ministry of the Word and the demonstration of power.

MISSION: To blanket this world with the evidence of God’s saving, healing, delivering and lifting power everywhere people live, work or play. (Numbers 14:21, Isaiah 11:9 and Habakkuk 2:14).

GOAL: Connecting humanity with the Person, Presence, passion (for), purpose, potential, principles and power of the Almighty and releasing them to subdue and dominate the earth now – and possess Heaven at the end.

OUR BELIEFS: Many have heard the Gospel but need to see God in action. Therefore, we celebrate the power and Presence of God demonstrated in the lives of His children, through the very many signs and wonders that characterize our meetings (Mark 16:20). Testimonies.
